His style of treatment involves a large selection of techniques including; massage, manipulation, cranio-sacral therapy, MET and electrotherapy. He can also design patient specific exercise programs.

Since starting BNM Dr. Felix has developed a very close relationship with various practitioners in the area, this includes personal trainers, massage therapists, doctors and naturopaths. As the result he is now a part of a very close network of practitioners.

In his spare time, he enjoys playing badminton, competing in Obstacle Races, and spending time with his young family.

Steve Anastasopoulos

(Myotherapist)

Steve, our Senior Myotherapist, at Victory Park Health group has over 8 years of clinical experience, completing his Advanced Diploma in Remedial Massage (Myotherapy). A thorough and detailed understanding of the muscular and nervous system allows Steve to achieve fantastic results with our patients. Through his holistic approach, he achieves more than just providing exceptional symptom relief; he identifies root causative factors and then effectively communicates this to you to ensure you understand your contribution to better long-term health.

Among his array of hands on soft-tissue techniques, Steve finds the use of dry needling, where indicated, very beneficial for his patients. Dry needling involves the use of fine acupuncture needles being inserted into areas of contracted muscle fibres that contribute to pain production.

This method allows these tight bands of muscle to quickly release, subsequently reducing the stress of the associated muscle and nerve pathways, getting you feeling better, faster. Steve has been active most of his life, playing soccer for 20 years, but has also been on the other side of the fence, working with sporting teams at a competitive level.

In his free time, he now finds himself keeping fit through gym, pilates and running. Steve has interest in treating a broad range of musculoskeletal complaints, including neck and back pain, tension headaches, and occupational and sporting injuries.

He works in collaboration with our and physiotherapists and you do not require a referral to see him. Steve is a current member and board member of Myotherapy Association of Australia and is available at our Bentleigh clinic.

He is registered for private health insurance rebates through our HICAPS machine and is registered for Work Cover patients.
